Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of projectx42.online and its subdomains, our store, and our engineering services (together, the "Services"), operated by ProjectX42 ("we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Services under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse or violation of these Terms.

2. Store orders

Pricing. All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include the item price only; shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout. We may correct pricing errors; if an item's correct price is higher than displayed at the time of your order, we will contact you before charging or cancel and refund the order.

Payment. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. An order is confirmed only after the payment signature has been verified. You will receive an order confirmation and invoice by email.

Shipping (physical products). In-stock items ship within 3–5 business days. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Please inspect packages on arrival and report transit damage within 48 hours.

Returns & refunds (physical products). Defective or dead-on-arrival hardware may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or full refund. Items must be returned complete and in original packaging. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving the return.

Digital products. Digital products (software, courses, source code, templates) are delivered immediately after payment and are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, except where the product is materially defective and we cannot remedy it.

Subscriptions. Subscription plans renew for the stated period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as required by law.

3. Engineering services

Website, bot, AI and security engagements are scoped individually. Every project is discussed before development begins, and final pricing depends on project complexity. The agreed written scope, timeline and payment schedule for a project govern that engagement; where a project agreement conflicts with these Terms, the project agreement prevails. Work begins after the agreed advance is received.

4. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you receive the rights to project deliverables as agreed in the project scope. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries and know-how, which are licensed to you as needed to use the deliverables. Store products remain subject to their individual licenses. The ProjectX42 name, logo and site content are our property and may not be used without written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services: no unauthorised access attempts, no scraping at disruptive volumes, no uploading of malicious code, no fraudulent orders, and no use of purchased products for unlawful purposes. Security services are provided strictly for systems you own or are authorised in writing to test.

6. Reviews and submitted content

By submitting reviews or comments you grant us a non-exclusive right to display them on the Services. We moderate submissions and may decline or remove content that is false, offensive or unrelated to the product.

7. Warranties and liability

Hardware products carry the warranty stated on their product page. Otherwise, the Services are provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability arising from any order or engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that order or engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections 4–9 survive termination.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kochi, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date and apply to orders placed after that date.
